University of Osmania exams postponed: The University of Osmania has postponed exams due to incessant rainfall in the state. The university announced the schedule of the canceled exams on Thursday. Based on the order of the state government, the University of Osmania has canceled the exams scheduled for 20 and 21 July 2023.

A holiday was declared for two days on July 20 and 21 for schools, colleges and other educational institutions throughout the country. The order was issued by Education Secretary Sabith Reddy via Twitter. On the basis of this order, the University of Osmania has announced to students a holiday and postponement of exams. The revised schedule of canceled exams will be published on the official website soon.

University of Osmania announces a holiday

The University of Osmania has released an official notice about the postponement of the exam and giving candidates two days off. The official announcement said that, in accordance with the directive of the Telangana government, all exams scheduled for 20 and 21 July 2023 under the jurisdiction of the University of Osmania have been postponed due to incessant rain.

The announcement also states that the rescheduling of the postponed exams will be available on the official website of the University of Osmania.

Schools closed in Telangana

Education Secretary Sabith Reddy in a Twitter post announced the closure of school until July 22, 2023. The holiday was announced due to continued heavy rainfall in the state. According to the Telangana Development Planning Commission, heavy rains are expected in the districts of Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jagityala, Pedapalli, Manchiryala, Adilabad, Jayashankar, Bhupalapalli, Hanumakonda, Warangal and Mulugu in the coming days.
