“I’m going to hypnotize you and make you hallucinate and think your room is getting smaller,” Seany said in her video, which has received more than a million likes.

The video showed an abstract pattern moving outward.

There is a red dot in the middle.

“Don’t take your eyes off that moving dot,” Seany said in the video.

“Feel free to blink if you need to, but don’t take your eyes off the point.”

Then comes the real challenge.

If you can keep looking at the center point for another 10-15 seconds, you’ll have an amazing reaction.

After the illusion disappears from the screen, you will be asked to look away and the walls will appear to shrink.

The video definitely had an impact on commenters, but the results were mixed.

“It actually works,” the user commented.

“My room is stretching,” said another person.

Someone else commented: “NO REDUCTION, NO MORE OUT.”

“Should it work for 2 minutes?” another commenter asked.

Did the illusion work for you?

In other optical illusions, only 1 percent of people can see the image hidden within the image of a circle in a square.
