In his DWTS ballroom debut, the actor — who played Greg Brady on the beloved sitcom — performed the fox trot to the Brady Bunch’s “It’s a Sunshine Day” with partner Peta Murgatroyd.
“I’m trying to channel Florence Henderson, who encouraged me to accept the invitation to Dancing with the stars,” he explained. “Since she was familiar with my theater background, she thought I could be very good. And at that time she had just been eliminated and asked me if I would carry the torch.”
The The Brady Bunch The cast has remained close in the years since it ended in 1974 after five seasons. As a result, Williams revealed he hopes some of his former colleagues will soon be in the ballroom to cheer him on as he competes for the newly renamed Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Susan Olsen, who played his younger sister Cindy Brady, was already there.

Williams added: “Maureen [McCormick] she gave me her hand several times, encouraged me and I hope she will come. I hope they all come … I have a lot of support from Brady.”
