Tamar Braxton is seeking answers from the media more than two years after her sister Traci’s death.
In an exclusive preview from PEOPLE The Braxtons In the season finale, Tamar meets with Taz, a medium who connects with “people who have passed away, so we can bring closure and healing.”
During the meeting, it was revealed that Traci and sister Trina got into an argument while celebrating Traci’s birthday, which “upset Tamar.”

In a flashback from three weeks ago, Tamar tells her sister, “He said he was about two weeks old. You all remember that. No one would tell me.”
“I don’t understand why I was the last to find out,” she adds in the confessional. Trina then reminds her that they were “in a fight” before Traci’s death, but Tamar disagrees.
However, in the confessional, he honestly admits: “On the one hand, he is right. Traci and I had a lot of disagreements, to be honest.”

Toni Braxton says she ‘should be dead’ after nearly having a heart attack, but late sister Traci ‘looked after her’
When her sisters asked her why she didn’t tell Traci, Tamar replied: “I don’t know why she didn’t tell me.” I don’t have that answer.”
During a reading with Taz, she explains to Tamar, “I want to actually get into that energy and hear her sister. You know what she has to say.”
“Traci is passing, but she is so emotional. I feel emotional now because she is very attached to you. Her first word to you is: I’m sorry,” she says as Tamar wipes away a tear. “She says that before I died I did a lot of things that I wish I had done differently. He says I love each and every one of you. Just remember you’re my baby.”

The reading comes more than two years after Toni Braxton announced Traci’s death at the age of 50 on Instagram in March 2022, writing in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci.”
“Needless to say, she was a shining light, wonderful daughter, amazing sister, loving mother, wife, grandmother and respected performer. We will miss her dearly,” the statement continued.
At the time, Traci’s husband, Kevin Surratt, confirmed that she had been “privately going through a series of treatments for esophageal cancer” before her death.
