The cutest thing you’ll see today are the ‘moss chickens’ learning to walk

The wildlife hospital accepts a wide variety of creatures, from reptiles and parrots to penguins and sea lions.

Everyone at the medical clinic loves working with cgea.tours to come – but they especially like to focus on the kākāpō girls.

The Kākāpō, also known as the green chick, is a large, flightless, nocturnal parrot native to New Zealand.

They are extremely large in size and everyone at the emergency clinic is looking for nearby kākāpō, especially babies.

They had a lot of experience in raising chickens so whenever a kākāpō needed help, they were usually dispatched from Dunedin.

They recently adopted some green chicks and are trying to train them to return to the wild for long periods of time.

The chickens the clinic currently has are all 5 to 2 months old and all of them have now mastered the skills they would have to deal with in the wild.

The staff really enjoyed watching them grow and they wouldn’t think they could fight these adorable little birds.
