The dog in the shelter trembled with fear and horror, it didn’t even have the confidence to move

Every dog and cat deserves a loving family and a chance at life. Unfortunately, old and young pets die in overcrowded shelters due to lack of space.

There are millions of dogs and cats in shelters waiting for someone to come and pick them up. However, some are staying in so-called ‘death prisoners’ in shelters. Each of these pets has a specific date that they must be adopted or the shelter will destroy them.

Meet Moch, a one-year-old pit bull mix who was dumped at the Rowan County Animal Shelter in Salisbury, North Carolina.

She was surrendered by her callous owner along with another dog through no fault of hers. The shelter has set a date for Mocha for November 1st, and if she is not adopted by then, she will be put to death.

A scared puppy will tremble with fear in its crate and potential adopters will walk past it. She arrived covered with fleas and paralyzed with fear. One of the shelter’s volunteers, Albina Albiie Chanel, wanted to show Mochi that not all people are bad.

She is heartbroken by Mocha’s condition and wants to give her a chance to find a family.

“You know, every day we have to deal with human cruelty and evil. This sweet girl broke my heart. The owner surrendered to it. She was a skeleton, full of bones. fleas, constantly shivering and doesn’t even want to get up and walk. Talk about a broken soul. There are days when I hate people so much. Keep it up baby Mocha. She witnessed it too. many bad things in just one year of her life,” Albina wrote.

She decided to write a letter from Moch and post it on Facebook. People say: “Dear friends,

As I sit here on death row completely defeated, I hope my puppies at least have a better life than I do. I’m sitting here scared to death. You see, I’m only a year old. I haven’t had a good life at all..”

He went on to say, “I was so shaken in the crib that people walked past me. I couldn’t help it, people were not nice to me. I’m very skinny, but I like to eat. I tried to be brave to take my pictures today, but I couldn’t even get up. I also tried and I think the girls with me all know I’m trying.. I was brave enough to treat myself later.”

The heartbreaking letter ended with the words: “My employer has assigned me to a shelter with my friend.. please consider adopting me and give me the chance to have a good life. But know that it might take me a while to warm up because I’m scared. You can find me in the crib.

The post went viral with thousands of people commenting and sharing it. Fortunately, a kind person heard about Moch and went to the shelter to save her. Albina updated the post to tell everyone that Mocha and her sister are safe with her.

Albina wrote a letter to Mochi after being rescued. She wrote: “Dear Mocha, I sat down with you and wrote a letter for the world to see. And they did. Happy second chance sweet girl. May you end up being loved and cared for forever. Thanks to whoever saved Mocha. She is just one of many people waiting for the death penalty and a loving home.
