The Golden BachelorGerry Turner and his fiancee Theresa Nist are one step ahead in their wedding preparations, thanks to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos!
While appearing on Tuesday’s episode Living with Kelly and Markthe engaged couple took part in an impromptu dress rehearsal ahead of their official wedding – and luckily, they happened to be wearing just the right clothes for the occasion.
Turner, 72, looked dapper in a classic gray suit teamed with a lilac button-down shirt and matching tie.
Nist, 70, wore a glamorous black mini dress with rhinestones, which matched her silver manicure, and heeled ankle boots. (Nist shared a look at their outfits earlier this month before the episode aired.)
“We understand that they want you to get married on TV,” Ripa says in the clip, noting that Consuelos is an ordained priest. “And since we’re all gathered here today,” she continues as the procession song begins to play, “we can just have the wedding here.”
Ripa then gives Nist a bouquet of white roses and Turner a ring pillow. The surprised couple laughs at the props.
The future newlyweds exchange promises to love each other “forever” with the help of Consuelos’ script. And, just as Consuelos begins to wrap up the wedding rehearsal, Nist jokingly rejects his confirmation, saying, “We’re not ready!”
“Now you can suck your rings,” Ripa announces.

Sweet as it is, the candy can’t top the “vintage-inspired” Neil Lane engagement ring that Turner proposed The Golden Bachelor season finale.
“The symbolism of it is so important,” Turner told PEOPLE exclusively about the sparkling wine. “It was like, as soon as she put it on, again, it was like, ‘Oh, my God, this is this joyful happiness that I want to feel, that I want everyone to see.'”
Turner chose a princess cut diamond ring with two baguette cut diamonds and further embellished with 128 small round brilliant cut diamonds weighing a total of 3.15 carats. The ring is handmade and signed by Lane.

When it was announced to the world that Nist was the lucky winner of Turner’s final rose, she was incredibly pleased to finally be able to wear her new stone.
“It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful,” she told PEOPLE of her ring. “I can finally wear it. It’s been so long. This was taken away from me so quickly. It is beautiful, beyond itself. On the other side, on the other side. So beautiful. I like that.”

Turner and Nist made their official red carpet debut at The Golden Bachelor screening and discussion in New York at the beginning of this month.
He stepped out in a navy blazer and trousers with a light blue shirt and patterned tie to match, while she wore a tan ribbed dress with a mock collar and a bright red long coat.
Fans of the couple can watch the next chapter of their love story unfold during a special live broadcast of their wedding on ABC on January 4.
