Ryan Gosling As Sierra Six/Court Gentry
Court Gentry (aka, Sierra Six) is a CIA black ops mercenary who is recruited by Donald Fitzroy from prison. As an off-the-books agent, Sierra Six’s expertise is called upon when the CIA brass want to keep something under wraps, with Six effectively operating in the “gray,” hence the name “The Gray Man.” The composed and stoic lead of The Gray Man cast has a personality that contrasts with most other roles portrayed by Ryan Gosling. Indeed, Gosling is best known for his roles in Barbie, The Notebook, La La Land, Drive, The Nice Guys, Blade Runner 2049, Blue Valentine, First Man, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and The Place Beyond the Pines.
Chris Evans As Lloyd Hansen
Lloyd Hansen is an off-the-record CIA mercenary, used for whatever wetwork the CIA brass can’t sign off on because of internal policies and procedures. However, this is the only thing he has in common with Sierra Six. A clear-cut villain in The Gray Man cast, Hansen actually enjoys killing for money. Chris Evans is a big part of why The Gray Man was a huge Netflix hit. Evans is also famous for his roles in Knives Out, Snowpiercer, The Iceman, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Ana De Armas As Dani Miranda
Dani Miranda is a CIA agent who is on Sierra Six’s team in The Gray Man’s opening mission. She later helps SIx when she gets to be in the crossfire of the CIA’s hunt for the rogue agent. In fact, Dani Miranda serves as a close ally to Sierra Six from the beginning to the ending of The Gray Man. Dani is portrayed by Ana de Armas, who is best known for her roles in Knives Out, the James Bond film No Time to Die, and Deep Water, in which she starred alongside Ben Affleck. Notably, de Armas also starred alongside The Gray Man cast lead Ryan Gosling in Blade Runner 2049, and alongside Chris Evans in Ghosted.
Billy Bob Thornton As Donald Fitzroy
Donald Fitzroy was Sierra Six’s handler before he retired from the CIA, leaving Six at the mercy of a new guard. Fitzroy is the closest thing to a father Six has and he tries to help the mercenary despite being caught in the middle of deep-rooted, dangerous CIA conspiracies. No one in The Gray Man cast knows Six better than Donald Fitzroy. Fitzroy is portrayed by Billy Bob Thornton, who is best known for his roles in Devil’s Peak, Monster’s Ball, The Man Who Wasn’t There, Goliath, Friday Night Lights, Bad Santa, Love Actually, and Armageddon. Thornton also appears in the TV series Fargo and 1883.
Regé-Jean Page As Denny Carmichael
Denny Carmichael is a powerful senior officer with the CIA who takes pride in the fact that he’s climbed the ladder from analyst to a top tier position in such a short amount of time. Carmichael is the one who orders the hit on Sierra Six to cover-up what he and the agency have been doing. Carmichael is portrayed by Regé-Jean Page, who is best known for playing Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings in the successful Netflix period romance series Bridgerton. Page has also been in For the People, another Shonda Rhimes-produced series, and Mortal Engines. Page also played Xenk the Paladin in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
Jessica Henwick As Suzanne Brewer
Suzanne Brewer is a senior officer with the CIA, working alongside Denny Carmichael. Unlike Carmichael, she knows using Lloyd Hansen to hunt Sierra Six will only land them in hot water, suggesting she plays by the rules more than he does. Despite her demeanor, the position Brewer finds herself in means that she’s the wild card in The Gray Man cast. Suzanne is portrayed by Jessica Henwick, who is best known for her roles in the series Moley, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and Game of Thrones. Henwick also appears in the movies The Matrix Resurrections, Glass Onion, On The Rocks, and Love and Monsters.
Julia Butters As Claire Fitzroy
Claire Fitzroy is Donald Fitzroy’s niece, the youngest character in The Gray Man cast. After Claire Fitzroy’s parents died, Donald raised her himself, with Claire trusting Sierra Six with her life after he’s tasked with protecting her a couple of years ahead of the start of The Gray Man. Claire is portrayed by Julia Butters, who is most famous for playing Trudi Fraser in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood and the TV series Transparent and American Housewife. Butters also appears in The Fabelmans.

Wagner Moura as Laszlo Sousa – Laszlo Sousa is dubbed the “dry cleaner” in The Gray Man and is the man Sierra Six seeks out to obtain a fake passport so he can travel without being caught. However, as with most of The Gray Man cast, there is more to Laszlo than meets the eye. Wagner Moura is best known for playing Pablo Escobar in Narcos. Moura has also had roles in Tropical Paradise, Elysium, and Elite Squad.
Dhanush as Avik San/Lone Wolf – Avik San is one of the men who hunts Sierra Six after a hit is put out on him. Avik is also an associate of Lloyd Hansen, but this doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the same. In fact, the Lone Wolf may be the most mysterious member of The Gray Man cast. Dhanush is an Indian actor who has starred in dozens of South Asian films, such as the family drama Thiruchitrambalam, the romance Raanjhanaa, and the political action movie Vaathi.
Alfre Woodard as Margaret Cahill – Margaret Cahill is a former CIA chief and a friend to Fitzroy and Sierra Six in The Gray Man. Prior to the events of the movie, Cahill was crucial to the operations of the Sierra program. Alfre Woodard is best known for her roles in Weathering, Annabelle, the Marvel Netflix series Luke Cage, Captain America: Civil War, 12 Years a Slave, True Blood, Desperate Housewives, and the Apple TV+ series See.
