Great British Stitch Bee star Esme Young wowed fans with an incredible flashback photo of her younger years.
Taking to Instagram, the fashion designer and TV judge shared a snap of the fresh-faced star wearing a chic black raincoat with matching headband and dark colors.
She captioned the post: “Here I am again.”

Fans were quick to compliment Esma’s look in the comments section, with one person writing: “What a style!” while another added: “Oh Miss Esme, that’s great.”

Esme gained a huge fan following when she appeared on BBC One’s warm needlework programme, where she has been a judge since 2016.

But the 74-year-old is best known for her illustrious career in the fashion world.
Esme began her career by founding the successful fashion brand Swanky Modes, along with friends Judy Dewsbury, Melanie Herberfield and Willie Walters.

The fashionistas set up shop in Camden Town in the 1970s and it didn’t take long for the brand to become famous thanks to celebrity clients including Cher and Grace Jones.

Their designs quickly began appearing in magazines and newspapers such as Vogue, Nova, The Sunday Times, Honey and V&A Little Black Dress Book. Their costumes were also photographed by renowned photographers, including Helmut Newton, David Bailey, Nick Knight, John Swannell and Neil Kirk.
Esme’s designs have also made their way to the big screen, with the fashion expert working on costumes for films such as The Beach, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Storm Heights from 2011, Romeo and Juliet And Train detection.

One of Esme’s most famous designs is the ‘Amorphous Dress’, worn by actress Linda Kozlowski in the 1986 film. Dundee Crocodileand is now in the V&A collection.
Esma Young’s TV career
Esme is a famous face all over the country thanks to her role as a judge Great British tailor bee. He appeared on the show alongside judge Patrick Grant, as did comedian Sara Pascoe, who hosted the show.

Talking about what she loves about filming the series, Esme said in a recent interview: “I love the new challenges of this series. We turned a sewing room into a showroom at the show. Art Week and I love it The Pattern Challenge was inspired by the Modernism Movement And then they turned the canvas into clothing for the Transformation Challenge. It was very 3D because the texture of the canvas was too much. hard.It’s hard to sew.
