Do you see the green “horns” in the back? They create real magic! Biologists say that the otter is such a snail. But they are rejected by chemists, who call it a living laboratory. Just imagine a manatee gnawing on green algae, not emitting a feeling of fullness but to get high-quality chloroplasts from it.
They are needed for photosynthesis, by which plants are “fed” by sunlight. The phenomenon is complicated, and the manatee itself isn’t strong enough, so it takes other people’s chloroplasts and puts them into cells.
How exactly it is not yet calculated, but the result is a small miracle. The snail begins to absorb sunlight as food – that’s how it lives.
Like animals, but eat like plants! There are actually a number of organisms on the whole planet that do not belong to plants and microorganisms, but also know how to use photosynthesis.
This is a real miracle of nature!
