Thank you amazing dad

This meme captures the hilarity and power of using the banishment spell. DMs spend hours planning encounters for player characters. The sorcerers then asked their patron to teach them banishment. By then, the horrific dragon battle that the DM had been planning for days was transported to another plane of existence.
In the end, the DM is just asking for trouble, as they usually end up acting as the warlock’s patron, since the patron is an NPC. This adds another layer of humor to the whole situation.
“exile”

In the area research and development, Typical rules don’t always apply. For example, a cleric can be perfectly happy to befriend (or romance) a demon, as long as their chosen deity does not explicitly forbid this relationship option. This sort of thing tends to align with the campaign type or DM. With the meme example above, this could lead to some hilarious moments in the game that feel more like some kind of scene. good sign Fan fiction.
Anyway, pretending to banish the demonic entity is the most important thing Dungeons and Dragons humor.

banishment spell Dungeons and Dragons have Lots of interesting uses and story potential. However, for many players, it often feels like they are sending the bad guys into their room until the bad guys are ready to excel again. Of course, the situation is different when the DM decides to use the spell on the player characters.
Still, the mental image is pretty hilarious for anyone involved. R&D.
The priest comes with the intention of banishing the undead
By: Redhood_jason_todd/Reddit
Banishment itself is now more than just a spell available to all classes. This is also a function of priests, who can easily destroy the undead in any encounter where monsters appear. With a good enough roll or divinity, the DM suddenly goes through the five stages of grief as their undead horde finds themselves massively depleted. This meme perfectly captures the DM’s facial expression when this scene happens.
How the situation changes

Banishment spells are always fun, unless one member of the party is banished. Suddenly, things aren’t as interesting when one of the main healers or tanks of the team is banished to another realm entirely. At that point, the party will have fought for about 10 rounds to bring back much-needed party members before things turn into a TPK.
Eviction is no joke unless R&D Players turned it into a meme.

Nothing could be more interesting, at least Dungeons and Dragons Players, such as when BBEG or a minor villain fails a Charisma saving throw against a banishment spell. Part of this is because it’s really hilarious to see the DM’s reaction, especially when the DM rolls a Nat 1. This is also because when banishment occurs, players can bring any silly quips to the table.
Nothing beats dark gaming Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Goodbye bard

Every class is vulnerable to banishment spells unless someone in the party is prepared to counter the spell. Of course, the bard being transported to another plane of existence for a minute or so is pretty fun to imagine. Again, this comes down to the stereotype of the flighty minstrel class who always have a song ready.
With the Fall Out Boy lyrics thrown in, this becomes the perfect meme for this situation.
To wait or not to wait?

The problem with using Banish in the caster’s arsenal is that it’s too easy to use. For example, the caster must decide whether the monster should be banished at the beginning of the combat round, or wait and let the party honestly defeat it. The spell only lasts for one minute, but during that time the party can do a lot to prepare for the villain’s return. Of course, if they didn’t come from the Prime Material Plane, they might never come back.
As the meme captures, R&D Players with the banishment spell face quite a dilemma.
Shadowlands’ population surges

The Shadow Realm will be as timeless as the game’s ridiculous hair. Yu-Gi-Oh!. Of course, any player or DM who has the banishment spell and has seen this animation at least once will make this joke. Better to make peace with it and have memes ready for when the Shadow Realm inevitably shows up in a game. Dungeons and Dragons.
As this meme shows, anyone from a BBEG to a warrior can enter the Kingdom of Shadows because of an overzealous wizard who just learned to banish and has no self-control.
puff!Lola is gone

If the caster is going to use Banish on someone in their party, they need to make sure the player’s character is from this plane of existence. If the caster does not do this, they will not return after the one minute is up and will be trapped in their home plane of existence until they are able to return. This is one of those weird little features of the banishment spell.
As this meme emphasizes, be sure to always play it safe with any spells you cast, especially when they are acting on a party member.
