The Last of Us Stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey Reunite at AFI Awards Luncheon

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are back together – without the zombies.

The last of us It seems the stars have taken their strong on-screen relationship to real life as they shared a sweet moment during their reunion at the AFI Awards luncheon on Friday.

Pascal, 48, wore dark purple trousers with a matching baggy top as he posed for a photo with Ramsey, 20, who wore a black suit with a matching black shirt underneath. In the video, the couple appeared to be in the middle of an embrace The Mandalorian the actor put an arm around her shoulder and Ramsey leaned over.

The two shared other adorable moments on the red carpet. At one point, the actors were spotted discussing something while looking at each other while being photographed. In another moment, Pascal is caught giving Ramsey a kiss on the forehead as she smiles widely.

Pedro Pascal praises actress Bella Ramsey from ‘The Last of Us’: ‘They brought out the best in me’

From The last of us premiered last year, the couple shared a glimpse of their friendship. At the “For Your Consideration” event in Los Angeles in May, the duo had a touching moment when Pascal explained his signature hand-on-her-belly pose to the young actress.

“You know why?” he said to Ramsey. “My anxiety is right here.”

Ramsey appeared to copy the pose in the following photos, proudly placing her hand over her stomach in a similar fashion.

The Wonder Woman 1984 the actor has also spoken highly of Ramsey in the past, telling Steven Yeun Variety’s Actors on Actors that it was “terrifying” to know he was “going into an experience that was 12 months away from home – with a teenager” when he started filming The last of us. But he said the fear quickly disappeared while working with her and he could tell the young actress was “cool”.

“I couldn’t have asked for a more affectionate, generous, thoughtful teenager. And I don’t mean that in a patronizing way,” he said. “I relied on Bella for so much experience. We were both scared and shy about it, but Bella just inspired me to be mature about it.”

“I really don’t think I’ve met anyone like Bella,” Pascal continued. “They brought out the best in me as a person.”

Ramsey said GameRant.com that her relationship with Pascal is actually a “nice parallel” to Ellie’s relationship with Joel on the hit Max show (the two develop a closeness while trying to survive the zombie apocalypse). She explained that she and Pascal didn’t even have a chance to meet before they started filming the series.

“We were just thrown in,” she recalled. “And that chemistry was there right away and it just grew and developed like Joel and Ellie did. As their relationship developed, so did ours.”
