The news spreads fast. Taylor Swift deeply moved a young fan during her concert in Lisbon.

Videos showing Taylor Swift’s generous gesture to a young concertgoer in Lisbon have gone viral and resonated with audiences around the world.

The 34-year-old artist made a stop in Lisbon, Portugal over the weekend as part of her hugely successful Eras tour. On Friday, she graced the stage at the Estádio da Luz, performing a stunning performance that lasted three and a half hours.

Each segment of the concert, which consists of ten acts, reflects a different period in Swift’s career and corresponds with the albums she has released.

Throughout the tour, Swift has been donning trilby hats reminiscent of her “red” phase, a detail well known to her loyal followers, affectionately known as Swifties. During the “red” era of 2012, Swift often sported a black trilby top paired with shorts, sequined tops, and horizontal stripes.

Namely, she wears this legendary cap during the performance of the song “22”, the fourth single from the album.

During each stop on her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift ends her performances by visiting an audience member and gifting them a “22” hat. At Friday’s performance, Swift approached an enthusiastic young fan who was singing along with gusto. Overwhelmed with joy, the fan was moved to tears when Swift hugged her and presented her with the coveted trilby hat.

Swift continued the heartfelt exchange by exchanging a high-five with the young fan, who then blew the singer a kiss before Swift returned to her dancers to continue the performance. The touching moment was captured on video and shared by The Swift Society, a fan account, on Saturday. The video quickly went viral, garnering more than half a million views.
