The Show is a popular South Korean music television program that airs on SBS M. It is broadcast live every Tuesday from SBS Prism Tower, located in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The series has gone through several title changes over the years. It was previously known as “The Show: All New K-Pop” during its second season and “The Show: All About K-Pop” during its third season.
Starting in January 2019, The Show expanded its reach and started broadcasting live in more than 20 countries. This is made possible through partnerships with various international networks. Paramount Network and MTV France have joined hands to broadcast the show in their respective regions, allowing K-pop fans around the world to enjoy the performances and content. Show Voting live
To access the Star Planet app and enjoy the features of SBS MTV THE SHOW, you can download it from the following app stores
Android users:
- Visit the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for “Star Planet” in the search bar.
- Find the official Star Planet app and select it.
- Tap the “Install” button to start the download and installation process.
- After the application is successfully installed, you can open it and start using it.
iOS users (iPhone only):
- Launch the Apple Store on your iPhone.
- Search for “Star Planet” in the search tab.
- Find the official Star Planet app and click on it.
- Click the “Download” or “Download” button to start the download and installation.
- After the installation is complete, you can access the app from the home screen of your iPhone.
Login to Star Planet:
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the Star Planet app, you can sign in using the following account options:
Google:
- If you have a Google account, you can select the “Google” sign-in option.
- Click the “Google” button on the Star Planet login screen.
- Enter your Google account credentials (username and password).
- After entering the necessary data, click on the “Register” button.
- You will be signed in to Star Planet using your Google account.
Cocoa chat:
- If you have a KakaoTalk account, select the “KakaoTalk” login option.
- Tap the “KakaoTalk” button on the Star Planet login screen.
- You will be redirected to the KakaoTalk login page.
- Enter your KakaoTalk account information (ID and password).
- After you have entered the necessary information, click on the “Login” button.
- Star Planet will verify the authenticity of your KakaoTalk account and log you in.
ifree:
- The “ifree” login option is available to users who have an ifree account.
- Select the “ifree” button on the Star Planet login screen.
- Provide your ifree account credentials (username and password).
- To continue, click on the “Register” button.
- Star Planet will verify your ifree account and grant you access.
Apple (iPhone only):
- If you are an iPhone user, you can sign in to Star Planet using your Apple ID.
- Select the “Apple” login option on the Star Planet login screen.
- You will be redirected to the Apple ID sign in page.
- Enter your Apple ID and password.
- After entering the necessary data, click on the “Register” button.
- Star Planet will authenticate your Apple ID and sign you in (this option is exclusive to iPhone users).
Live voting results
You can check the live votes in the Star Planet app.
Live voting during “The Show” (Tuesday 6:05 PM – 6:55 PM KST):
In the live broadcast of the show “Show”, viewers have the opportunity to participate in the voting process. To vote for your favorite artist, follow the steps below:
Time:
- The live voting period is held every Tuesday from 18:05 to 18:55 KST.
Access to live voting:
- Once the voting period begins, go to the Star Planet app home screen.
- Look for “The Show Live Vote” section, marked with a purple bar.
- Tap on “The Show Live Vote” section to access the voting page.
Finding ‘DREAMCATCHER’:
- On the voting page, scroll or search for the artist you want to vote for, in this case ‘DREAMCATCHER’.
- Find the ‘DREAMCATCHER’ entry among participating artists.
Voting process:
- Once you find a ‘DREAMCATCHER’, tap the heart icon associated with his name.
- By touching the heart, you indicate that you want to vote for ‘DREAMCATCHER’.
- A slider will appear allowing you to adjust the number of votes you wish to assign to ‘DREAMCATCHER’.
- Move the bar to select the desired number of votes you want to cast.
Voting Conversion:
- The voting system uses a conversion rate of 100 ♡ jelly hearts = 1 vote.
- The number of heart jellies you assign with the slider will turn into the corresponding number of votes for ‘DREAMCATCHER’.
- For example, if you award 100 heart-shaped jellies, it will count as 1 vote.
Live voting period
Voting options for “The Show”:
Early voting (4 days before broadcast):
- Early voting begins June 14 at 8:00 PM KST (4:00 AM PST / 7:00 AM EST).
- It continues until June 17th at 2:00 PM KST (10:00 AM PST / 1:00 AM EST).
- There are no voting restrictions during the early voting period.
- Viewers can vote freely and without restrictions.
Live voting:
- Live voting takes place every Tuesday at 6:35 PM KST (2:30 AM PST / 5:30 AM EST).
- During live voting, viewers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist.
- Each viewer can cast up to 3 votes during live voting.
“The Show” broadcast schedule:
- “The Show” airs Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. KST (2:00 a.m. PST / 5:00 a.m. EST).
- Fans can tune in to SBS MTV and watch the show.
