The last episode of any reality show is equally exciting and sad. The public becomes fond of the show and when the end arrives they are saddened, but at the same time they are moved when they learn the name of the winner. “The Summit” is one such Australian reality series that aired in 2023. The format of this show features a group of contestants who must reach the top of a mountain, performing many tasks along the way. According to the show, each contestant has a backpack with a share of the A$1,000,000 grand prize.
Summit Final Winners
The series first launched on May 14, 2023, and was produced under the leadership of the Nine Network and Endemol Shine Australia. Participants must work together to create many tasks in 14 days. At first they are strangers to each other. When a participant stops participating, the amount of the prize money is reduced, likewise, all money will be lost if the group does not reach the top in the allotted time. Jai Courtney is the host of this series. Now, after much struggle and homework, three contestants have finally made it to the final round.
Facing a 14-day deadline in New Zealand’s South Island Alps, Issac, Brooke and Lulu came out on top as the last 3 of 14 everyday Australians to start the journey. They faced threatening terrain, harrowing obstacles, and a “Mountain Guardian” who watched their every move intently as they tried to conquer the mountain for a big cash prize. But when the 3 finalists reached the final after mental, physical and moral tests, they realized that it was only the beginning, there was another twist ahead.
Lulu, Isaac and Brooke are happy that they finally made it to the top. The last episode of the series was broadcast on Sunday night after 14 days, 200 kilometers of difficult and terrifying terrain. All of these finalists became “winners” of the show, but here there was a twist. In a major twist, the 11 eliminated contestants decided how the prize money would be divided among these winners. After arguing their case with the eliminated hikers and giving answers to the stiff competition, Brooke was awarded $150,000, Lulu $90,000, and Isaac $250,000. After winning the big amount, 33-year-old Isaac declares that “reaching the top of the top is the greatest achievement of my life.”
