First trailer The Umbrella Academy Season 4 has arrived. After several seasons of crazy twists and near-apocalyptic scenarios, Netflix’s hit comic book adaptation is coming to an end with its upcoming fourth season. The show is set to premiere on August 8, The Umbrella Academy The fourth season will continue the story of the previous season. The Hargreeves siblings will enter a whole new universe without their super powers.

Now, Netflix has released the first The Umbrella Academy The Season 4 trailer gives a hint of what’s to come in the show’s final six-episode season. Check it out below:

The trailer is accompanied by the tune of “The Final Countdown” as the siblings travel through the new timeline, experiencing chaos and quarrels as always, but also understanding the importance of family bonds. Despite losing their superpowers, there are also shots showing Victor Hargreeves (Elliot Page) and Ben Hargreeves (Justin H. Min) using tentacles with orange light bursting from their hands.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 trailer reveals plot

The trailer opens with a conversation from Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) from Season 1, making it clear that the final season will be closely tied to the first, and may even offer a happy ending in some ways. The Umbrella Academy The season 3 finale seemed to grant Reginald’s wish by leaving both him and Abigail Hargreeves (Lisa Repo Martell) alive, while also leaving him in a strong position in the new timeline. The footage of him looking majestic in the trailer supports this, and Reginald may be the villain that the siblings must defeat in their final outing.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Ben Reginald Abigail Related: The Umbrella Academy: 20 Characters Resurrected After Death

There are a lot of deaths and resurrections in The Umbrella Academy, which can be hard to follow between other timelines, flashbacks, and Klaus.

Facing the cunning, manipulative Reginald at his full strength will be a daunting challenge, and even more terrifying if they lose their powers. Considering the childhood trauma and pain Reginald caused the children, and many of the siblings are still struggling to deal with this history, Reginald seems like a fitting choice for their final archenemy. The footage of Elliot and Ben using their powers confirms that at least some of the siblings will regain their powers in the final season, although it will be interesting to see when and how this happens in light of their conflict with Reginald.

Presumably, before regaining their super powers, the siblings will go on a rescue mission, as Alison Hargreeves (Emmy Raver-Lampman) suggests. Perhaps they’ll try to save Abigail from Reginald, as that could be the key to solving the problem. The trailer does a great job of recreating the Hargreeves’ adorable and crazy chemistry and hints at important details without revealing the main plot. The Umbrella AcademyThe final season of .
