Surname Season 2 has officially been released and here’s everything we know about the new anthology series. Surname The first season aired, indentureApril 2021 On Amazon Prime, the story follows the Emory family as they move from North Carolina to an all-white neighborhood in Compton, California in the 1950s. Over the next ten days, the Emory family is incarcerated. haunted by the ghosts of their racist white neighbors and their new home.
Show creator Marvin Jr. based on postwar history in the 1950s and the Great American Migration to set the stage for Emory’s House of Horror. SurnameAn incredible cast, including Deborah Ayolinde, Ashley Thomas, Alison Peele and Shahadi Wright Joseph, bring to life the characters of the Compton neighborhood.
While Emory’s story ends at the end of Season 1, there’s more to come Surname Season 2, even if the story itself won’t follow the same path. Here are the details so far.

Amazon Prime green light for first two seasons pre-orders Surname, so season 2 has arrived. Whether or not the series will have more seasons is yet to be determined, but as an anthology it should be fine to keep rolling out new stories.

No official release date yet Surname Season 2, but since part 2 has already been ordered, production could begin at any time. The first part was released in April 2021, so the sequel probably won’t be released until at least 2022, if not delayed by the ongoing pandemic.

However, some characters may come from TOPIC: Covenant If the story matches the crossover, re-play their roles. Even if the story takes place far from the events at Emory College in Compton, some of the entities introduced in the first season may appear, but not necessarily with the same cast.

Surname Season 1 ended the Emory story, so season 2 will continue with a new story with new characters. No story details have been revealed yet Surname Season 2, but it could change the time and place to explore the show’s dark horror themes in a different setting.
