Theresa Nist Slips into Sexy Lingerie for Boudoir Photo Shoot at Bachelorette Party Ahead of Golden Bachelor Wedding

Before Theresa Nist said “I do” to golden bachelor Gerry Turner, she had a bachelorette party.

Of course!

The bride-to-be, along with several of her closest friends, threw a bachelorette party that included Chippendale dancers and a boudoir photo shoot.

Lensed by Los Angeles-based photographer Jana Williams, Nist, 70, posed in Cosabella underwear with a colleague The Golden Bachelor contestants Susan Noles, Faith Martin, Sandra Mason and Ellen Goltzer.

Nist donned a sexy white lace number after telling friends she wanted to do a boudoir shoot because she felt so empowered stepping out of the limo on her first day The Golden Bachelor journey and she felt this was the logical next step in that empowering journey – and she wanted them to be a part of it.

Each woman approached filming differently. While Goltzer started out shy (joking about her “chicken chop” bra inserts), she ended the day speaking to the cameras during Golden wedding especially as she felt “really sexy”.

Mason, on the other hand, felt “emotionally turned on” from the start.

Nist and Turner, 72, tied the knot Thursday in a lavish ceremony in Palm Springs, Calif., broadcast live by ABC. Following their romance further The Golden Bachelorthe two walked down the aisle in front of friends and family, including several members Bachelor Nation, including Wells Adams, Ben Higgins, Jason and Molly Mesnick, Desiree and Chris Siegfried, and Trista and Ryan Sutter.

Nist wore a Badgley Mischka gown that she told PEOPLE was “traditional and modern,” but admitted that it was “really not what I imagined I would be wearing.”

“I received these incredibly beautiful dresses from Badgley Mischka and I was thrilled,” Nist said. “I asked each of these beautiful women to pick their favorite. And then I chose three of my own and went down the stairs with them. And as for the dress, they unanimously thought this was a good dress. I think Susan was so proud because I chose it!”

Although Turner originally thought about wearing a blue suit to the wedding, “we talked one night and came to the conclusion that a black tuxedo would look a little more formal,” he told PEOPLE. “And there I go, black tuxedo.”

He chose a classic look for his big day, and the groomsmen matched it. Everyone wore traditional black tuxedos for the ceremony.

Turner dropped to one knee in the inaugural season finale The Golden Bachelor last year, proposing Nist. He handed her a golden rose—one that would never wither—and told her he “couldn’t live without” it.

He proposed with a Neil Lane princess-cut diamond ring, telling PEOPLE it was the perfect choice for his bride-to-be for their second chance at love.

“The symbolism of it is so important,” Turner said. “It was like, as soon as she put it on, again, it was like, ‘Oh, my God, this is this joyful happiness that I want to feel, that I want everyone to see.'”
