Rom-coms are back, people! Netflix recently released a brilliant new movie called Love at First Sight and fans have nothing but praise for the new movie.
Besides the wonderful story and touching moments, the cast gets a lot of credit. There are many names packed into the film that you will definitely recognize. Find out who they are and where you’ve seen them before…

Hayley Lu Richardson as Hadley Sullivan
The main role of Hadley Sullivan is played by Hayley Lu Richardson. Hadley is on her way to London from the United States for her father’s wedding and ends up meeting a handsome stranger on the way, and love soon blossoms between them.

Ben Hardy as Oliver Jones
The role of Oliver Jones, an English actor, is played by Ben Hardy. Ben Hardy is perhaps best known for his role as Peter Beale in EastEnders, but the actor has moved on to Hollywood in recent years. In 2018, he played Queen drummer Roger Taylor alongside Oscar winner Rami Malek in Czech rhapsody. Also appeared in X-Men: Apocalypse, Only the brave and A girl before.

Džemila Džemil as narrator
Jameela Jamil has a role in Love at first sight as a narrator. Jameela is an activist, podcast host, former radio DJ turned actress. Her previous credits in Good place, she Hulk and Great pets.

Rob Delaney as Andrew Sullivan
Andrew Sullivan is Hadley’s father who is remarrying in London. He is played by comedian Rob Delaney, who fans will most likely recognize from the brilliant comedy, Disasterwhich also starred Sharon Horgan.
His other credits include Black mirror and Bomb.

Dexter Fletcher as Val Jones
Val Jones is Oliver’s father, played by Dexter Flecher. Dexter is a respected actor on the big screen and has appeared in films such as Lock, Stock and two smoke barrels and A cake in layers. In recent years, he has worked as a director, including his credits Rocketman and Eddie the Eagle.

Sally Phillips as Tessa Jones
Tessa Jones is Oliver’s mother, her story is filled with sadness because she was diagnosed with cancer, but decided not to seek treatment. Sally Philips has starred in many notable TV shows and movies such as Bridget Jones, Miranda, Veep, I’m Alan Partridge and more.

What is Love at First Sight about?
For those who haven’t tuned in yet, the synopsis reads: “After missing her flight from New York to London, Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) meets Oliver (Ben Hardy) in a chance encounter at the airport that sparks an instant relationship.
“A long night on a plane together flies by in the blink of an eye, but after landing at Heathrow, the pair are separated and finding each other in the chaos seems impossible. Will fate intervene and turn these fellow travelers into soul mates?”
