The Fantastic Mr. Fox may be a work of fiction, but as you can see from these photos, this man from County Kilkenny, Ireland is definitely real.
That man is Patsy Gibbons and his two lovable companions are Grainne and Minnie.
The gibbons nursed the foxes back to health after they were found abandoned as babies, and although the animals have fully recovered and are able to return to the wild, they appear to have been abandoned. choose to adopt his savior.
Not surprisingly, all three are getting so much attention from local children, that schools have invited Grainne and Minnie along so students can get a close-up look at them.
Gibbons told The Irish Examiner: “I now have people from across the country and even the UK asking me for advice on fox care. “I’m not an expert and I’m still learning from them day by day (but) I’m happy to consult as a regular person.”
