ITV is switching to a schedule change this week as the broadcaster will remove This Morning from its schedule to make room for coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The popular daytime show, hosted by Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, will air on Thursday as the football league begins.

This morning shared the news in a statement posted on social media that read: “As the 2023 Women’s World Cup kicks off this week, there will be some minor changes to the schedule. Here are all the details you need for this week!”
The press release is posted with a picture of the program schedule for the week. The show will maintain its regular time slot of 10-12:30 for most of the week and will only air for one day on Thursdays.

Fans of the show were quick to comment on the post and express their love for the hosts. One wrote: “I love Alison and Dermot. They are just as happy as we want on TV in these uncertain times”, while another called on ITV to make Craig Doyle a regular: ” Make Craig a regular. He’s great.”

Craig has been a regular on the show for the past few months, co-hosting alongside main host Holly since Phillip Schofield’s departure.

The broadcaster left ITV in May following rumors of tension between him and Holly. The following month, he released a statement explaining that he had lied about an affair with a younger co-star.
The 61-year-old said he was “deeply sorry” for lying and said the relationship was “unwise but not illegal” but is now over.

Holly and Phillip are not the only co-hosts to have been at the center of fallout reports in recent months. Alison Hammond has spoken out after revealing she had a “strained relationship” with Friday host Dermot O’Leary.
Earlier this month, the Mail on Sunday reported that the relationship between the two stars had recently become “tense” and ITV bosses were concerned that the stars might have to perform alone more often.

Alison denied the rumors by commenting on a photo of the couple posted on Dermot’s Instagram page. “Summer is here! Looking forward to this week with my @alisonhammond55 – we start at 10am!” Dermot wrote in the photo’s caption, which shows the presenting duo sitting side by side on the iconic blue sofa.
Alison commented: “Relieve stress with a knife”, adding a funny emoji.

Talking about GKBarry saving grace podcast last October, Alison said, “I can’t tell you how wrong they really were,” before dismissing the rumors. “I like the fact that people think like that. I’ll keep doing it,” she said: “Let’s go ‘kids, people think we hate each other, let’s do some things on TV, like how further away’. It’s like we’re still apart!”
