This Morning star rushed to hospital after nasty accident as he reveals stitches in his HEAD

TV DOCTOR Ranj Singh has sparked concern after he revealed a secret hospital trip that left him with stitches in his head.

The former This Morning and Strictly star, 45, shared a picture of himself with a bandage on his forehead, saying: “It’s not exactly how I planned to spend my Saturday night.”

He was bombarded with messages from worried fans who were left in the dark about his injury.

He later shared a note on Instagram explaining his nasty accident.

“Sorry, I should have explained,” said Dr. Ranj Singh.

“I slipped and hit the pavement with my face.

“I deserved five wonderful stitches.

“It’s all taken care of though! Thank you for your messages of concern.”

The This Morning regular quit in 2021 before the Phillip Schofield scandal.

The former presenter was forced to quit This Morning after 22 years following a relationship with a much younger runner.

The host called it an “unwise, but not illegal” affair.

In the meantime, dr. Ranj spoke about the toxic culture of “bullying” during his former role on the ITV daytime series.

The Sun later revealed he had raised concerns about the behavior of staff behind the scenes.

But in a scathing statement on social media, he said his complaints had led to the phase-out.

“I was on the show for ten years and I honestly loved and appreciated working there,” said Dr. Ranj.

“However, over time I became increasingly concerned about how things were behind the scenes and how people were treated, myself included.

“I didn’t know the truth about what was going on with Phillip, but I know the problems with This Morning go way beyond him. It takes more than one person to create a culture.

“So I did what I thought was right… and then I realized I was being used less and less.”

Dr Ranj continued: “I even took my concerns directly to the top of ITV.

“The culture at This Morning had become toxic, no longer aligned with ITV’s values, and I felt shunned for blowing the whistle.”

Dr Ranj – an NHS doctor for more than 20 years – went on to host his first BBC radio show, Motivation, to present a range of songs as well as motivational tips, health hacks and life advice.

He resigned in March.
