Tiger Woods’ son Charlie wants to become a pro.
The 15-year-old will participate in PGA Tour prequalification on Thursday in a bid to play the Cognizant Classic in Florida from Feb. 29 to March 3, the PGA Tour announced on its website Wednesday.
Charlie will play at Lost Lake Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, which is one of four pre-qualifying venues for the Classic. A total of 25 players will then progress to the full qualifiers on Monday, four of which will earn the right to play in the Cognizant Classic alongside pros including Rickie Fowler and current world No.2 Rory McIlroy,
The son of the 82-time PGA Tour winner will be just 15 years and 21 days old if successful, according to USA Today. With this, he will surpass his 48-year-old father, who played his first tournament at the age of 16.

In a video shared jointly on the PGA Tour and PNC Championship Instagram pages, Sam stood next to her father and chatted with him while cleaning one of his clubs.
“For the first time, Sam Woods wears his dad today ❤,” the post caption read. “I just love being with them and seeing what they’re doing, what they’re capable of doing — the joys, just the changes of interest,” the golf legend said of his children in 2011. “It’s just fun. We have a great time together.”
