TikTokers Alex Madison and Jon Bouffard suffered a pregnancy loss.

On Friday, June 21, social media personalities shared that Madison had suffered a pregnancy loss in a post on Instagram and TikTok. The couple previously told PEOPLE in March that they were expecting their first child.

“We are absolutely devastated to share the news that we lost our sweet baby boy this week,” the post began.

“There are no words that can truly describe the depth of this pain. Nothing can prepare you for this. Our hearts will never be the same.”

Madison, 31, added: “I had the privilege of carrying you for 26 weeks, and we will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Until we meet again, Leo Grey.”

Madison also reposted her Instagram carousel on Instagram Stories and captioned the post, “Fly high my angel.”

The Tell me straight the podcast hosts received an outpouring of support and condolences in the comments sections of both posts on social media.

Fellow TikToker and relative of the couple Kat Stickler expressed her support via Instagram: “I love you and our new guardian angel. Here with you always through everything.”

Social media influencer Tara Mackey added: “Oh Alex I’m so sorry 💔. my heart aches so much for you people.”

One user wrote: “I’m so sorry this happened and my heart goes out to you. 😢. Please know that you have thousands of fans praying for you and your family during this difficult time. ❤️.”

Several fans expressed their condolences on TikTok. One wrote: “So sorry Alex & Jon. We could all tell how happy you were to become parents. the whole community cries with you. ❤️🕊️.”

Madison previously shared that she and Bouffard, 36, first met after matching on Tinder. The couple then got married in September 2019.

When the couple spoke to PEOPLE in March, they said they felt ready to become parents.

“We knew we were ready when we talked about becoming parents every day,” Bouffard said at the time. “It’s become part of our regular conversation and the moment is finally right. I’m excited to have a mini ‘us’ entering the world. Half me, half her. But I hope it’s 100% her personality.”
