Timothée Chalamet Jokes Sister Pauline and Baby Niece Live ‘with a Group of People’ in a 'Forest-Type Thing’

Timothée Chalamet shared some interesting – albeit questionable – news about his older sister and little niece.

On the December 16 episode of Theo Von’s podcast, Last weekendthe host asked Timothée about becoming an uncle for the first time and asked for a photo of his newborn niece.

The Complete unknown star objected, explaining that he didn’t have a picture because his sister, Sexual life of female students actress Pauline Chalamet, decided to “keep her offline” after giving birth in September.

He then shared more details about his sister’s alleged living situation. “You know, my sister lives with a group of people in a forest settlement in France,” Timothée continued, even adding that “there was no internet.”

Von asked if it was near Nancy, a city in northeastern France, and Timothée agreed, “Near Nancy,” before hanging up. “No, I’m just messing with you,” the 28-year-old actor said with a laugh. “I’m sorry bro.”

However, Chalamet didn’t make up his older sister’s whole situation. She does indeed live in France, judging by a recent article in Nylonbut the story does not reveal with whom and in what agreement. And she there is lived in an artist colony in the past.

The article, published on December 9, claims that Pauline “currently resides” in Paris, where she also went to college. However, she grew up in an art colony in New York.

“It was a very special place to grow up, in retrospect,” she said while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show 2022. “Growing up there, I think I was a bit overwhelmed by the fact that there were so many different kinds of performers living there, and you could hear singing and dancing.”

Speaking with vanity fair, Pauline said the love of art “was in my family and it was also in the building I grew up in”, adding: “It was always there.”

Her brother’s playful soundbite comes months after Pauline accidentally revealed she had given birth to her first child, caught on video exclaiming: “I’ve just had a baby!” to director Greta Gerwig during Paris Fashion Week in September.

“None of my friends had empathy for me. They said like, ‘You were at a social event,'” Pauline said Nylon. “I said, ‘You want to record it and sell it to somebody? I hope you at least get good money for it.’”

Timothée’s appearance at Last weekend is part of the press whirlwind for his new film, the Bob Dylan biopic, which comes out on December 25th.

It has already received encouraging reviews from critics, who have praised it Dune the commanding effect of a star.

Timothée also garnered plenty of headlines when he debuted Dylan’s hair color change at the film’s premiere on Dec. 13, with blonde bangs and a blue cap reminiscent of the iconic musician’s 2003 Sundance Film Festival styling. (Although he did tell late-night host Stephen Colbert that he’s grown his new thin mustache for an upcoming role in Marty SupremeTimothée noted that it also worked on Dylan’s appearance.)
