The company’s first two hits were the 1993 remakes of “She Loves Me” and “Anna Christie,” starring Liam Neeson and Richardson. To draw in the after-work crowd, he launched the Early Curtain series in 1993, starting at 7 p.m.
The American Airlines Theatre, Studio 54, the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, the Laura Pels Off-Broadway Theatre, and another black box in the Pels family basement were incorporated into the Roundabout as it expanded.
