Tom Brady is teasing an (unbelievable) second non-retirement before the start of the NFL season this week.
The 45-year-old retired quarterback lent his acting skills to the hilarious video promoting the third season of Peyton and Eli Manning ManningCast, in which Brady says he’s returning to football after being ignored by his brothers at the call for a third host.
In the Omaha Productions promo, Peyton, 47, and Eli, 42, hold auditions for the third hosting spot on their hit series, facing off against celebrities like DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne and star athletes like Mike Tyson and LSU’s Olivia Dunne- And.

When the auditions go badly, Brady is shown sitting in the audition waiting room with an adorable golden retriever.
“No, I didn’t get it ManningCast job,” the retired quarterback says during a phone call before the ominous music kicks in. “I guess I’ll just go back and play football again.”
While Brady won’t be joining the Manning brothers as their co-host, fans can probably look forward to the father of three joining an NFL broadcast booth next year.

In February, Brady said his contract with Fox Sports would begin in 2024 during an interview with FS1 “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd.
“You’re on this really crazy treadmill, hamster wheel for a long time, loving the moment and the journey. At the same time, it’s a daily struggle,” Brady said of his work and recent retirement.

“I appreciate so many people who are so committed to showing up every day, putting maximum effort into their lives and careers,” he continued. “For me, I want to be great at what I do — talking, even last week, with the people at Fox Sports and the leadership there to allow me to start my Fox opportunity in 2024 is something that’s great for me.”

Brady’s contract is reportedly worth $375 million over 10 years, at multiple outlets.
As Brady explained, he wanted to “take some time to really learn” what his new career would entail and “become great at what I want to do” before jumping into it.
“It will be a great opportunity for me to take some time and really become [great] at my job at Fox, which I’m really looking forward to, but also catching up on other parts of my life that need some time and energy,” Brady said.
