Tommy Fury stumbles to points win against YouTuber KSI after laboured display in Manchester

TOMMY FURY stepped out for his fight with KSI at Michael Jackson’s Thriller – but the six-round crossover clash was far from that.

It was only in February that Fury ended a two-year feud with Jake Paul by winning a split decision in Saudi Arabia.

So Paul’s arch nemesis KSI stepped in to try and finish what the American started.

But he ended up suffering the same fate as Paul, losing by majority decision in Fury’s hometown of Manchester.

Fury said: “I fought with all my heart and that’s all you can do.

“I’ve said from day one that there will never be another Tyson Fury. I’m just trying to be the best Tommy Fury I can be.”

KSI was angered by the controversial result and plans to appeal the loss.

He said, “Robbery, it’s robbery. You didn’t land, look at your face. Look at yourself.

“I’m a YouTuber and you’re a boxer, you have to win.”

The fight started with electricity, but the action started and soon ended.

KSI, 30, charged with a curved right hand that drew Fury’s chin and attention.

But his hands down, fast-paced style clashed with Fury’s jerky, jerky approach with the pair constantly clinch.

Fury, 24, was docked a point for a rabbit punch after the two collided and exchanged blows up close and personal.

He came back well in the third round with a left hook on the break that proved to be a rare moment of success for both.

Fury ran away with the score down the stretch as the aggressor, at least trying to get the action going.

After the fight, Fury vowed “I’m done with bulls***, fuck bulls***” – ruling out a return to impact boxing.

KSI and Fury then engaged in a heated war of words – with the former calling for a rematch.

He then took umbrage at Fury’s illegal punches – claiming the decision was “outrageous” before revealing he planned to appeal.

The fight came after more chaos in the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis.

Paul cruised to a comfortable points victory before Danis tried to fight him with an MMA-style attack that sent the 30-man ringside into a frenzy and disqualified the jiu-jitsu fighter.
