Tony Roberts, a legendary Broadway and a movie actor, died. He was 85 years old.
His daughter Nicole Burley said New York Times That he died at his Manhattan house, NY, on Friday, February 7, after suffering complications of lung cancer.
The late actor had a long career in Broadway and a movie, appearing in titles as Serpic Opposite Al Pacino (1973), Annie Hall (1977), Taking pelham one three three (1974) and musicals How do you do now, Dow Jones (1967) I. Sugar (1972), among 23 other stage performances.
Roberts met Woody Allen in 1966 when he auditioned for an audition for Allen’s play Do not drink wateraccording to Hollywood reporter.
