Tony Romo Corrects Himself After Accidentally Calling Taylor Swift Travis Kelce’s Wife: ‘I’m Sorry’

Tony Romo clearly sees marriage in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s future.

During the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, Romo, 43 — who now works as an NFL commentator after playing 14 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys — casually referred to Swift, 33, as Kelce’s “wife.”

As the camera focused on Kelce, 34, during the game, it then switched to Swift smiling and sitting in the stands.

“As you can see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience,” Romo said, before quickly catching his mistake and correcting himselfadding, “Oh, I’m sorry. Girl!”

“Not yet,” another commenter then replied, laughing at Romo’s mistake.

Taylor Swift supports Travis Kelce at the Chiefs vs. Bills in Kansas City

Swift was once again at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to cheer on her boyfriend as he took the field on Sunday.

She was photographed excitedly cheering for Kelce, who she started dating earlier this year, in the suite, where sat with his momDonna Kelce.

Swift showed off her fanfare wearing a vintage ’90s red and black Chiefs tracksuit, made by local Kansas City retailer Westside Storey.

She paired the $250 retro style, which is no longer available on the store’s website, with her signature red lips.

Swift’s final matchday appearance follows Time 2023 Person of the Year interview, in which she broke her silence about her relationship with Kelce for the first time.

In one piece, Midnight the singer gave an overview of their dating timeline, confirming that her relationship with the NFL star “all started when Travis very sweetly put me on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.” “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew about, which I’m thankful for, because we got to know each other,” Swift continued. She then confirmed that the first time she supported Kelce at a Chiefs game in September, they “were a couple,” adding, “I think some people think they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to go hard on the first compound.”

Swift also opened up about her new love for Kelce’s sport, saying Time, “Football is great, it turned out. I’m missing out on my whole life.”
