OUR brain can trick us into seeing and hearing things that aren’t really there.
Only a small number of people can solve this perplexing Minecraft-themed optical illusion, according to TikTok gaming account The Cherry on the 27th.

Cherry 27 shared a TikTok video that had followers going wild as they tried to find the golden block.
The video shows a screenshot of the Minecraft game as it moves smoothly along a beam, knocking down blue walls.
To make the illusion even more annoying, a constant sound plays in the background that begins to rise in octaves, building in tension as viewers scan the screen.
“Wait for the gold block, only 0.1% of people can find it,” Cherry wrote in the video.
If you’re struggling to find a brick of gold, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
We can tell that the gold brick never appears on the screen when the video starts looping, going back to the beginning.
The background sound also loops, which means it never actually changes the octave of your brain just to make you think it’s going up.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their frustration with the hack.
“WAIT I just realized it’s a loop. I spent 10 minutes on this,” one viewer commented.
Another person joked: “It’s almost over, wait.”
“Fun fact: It’s the same sound, but your brain makes you hear the sound go higher even though all the sound is exactly the same,” one user explained.
“Nice job. I literally strained my eyes on this,” said another viewer.
