The World Happiness Report 2023 was published in March this year. Over the past decade, the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network has consistently produced its annual report on world happiness.
This comprehensive report involves surveying approximately 1,000 individuals from each of 146 nations, eliciting their assessments of quality of life within the confines of a 0-10 scale.

The researchers combined the data obtained from the survey with already existing statistics on GDP per capita, life expectancy, generosity, strength of social support systems, levels of trust and corruption, and perceived freedom to make personal life decisions. This intricate synthesis culminates in the creation of a holistic happiness score for each nation.
