The 40 best fish and chip shops in the UK have been revealed – did yours make it?
After an extensive judging process the best crisps in the country can be named, all hoping to be named the best in Britain.

The takeaway products were subjected to a lengthy evaluation process that included best practice, environmental issues, product knowledge and their responsibilities as an employer.
And the list has now been whittled down to just 40 top-rated companies.
Andrew Cook, chairman of the National Fish and Chip Federation, organizers of the awards, said: “The caliber of entries for the 2024 National Fish and Chip Awards has been nothing short of fantastic and we are proud of all the restaurants that have clearly delivered huge results. amount of effort to be considered for recognition.

Further rounds of judging will now take place to determine which stores progress to the later stages of the competition.
The awards, now in their 36th year, recognize and champion businesses and individuals across the UK who make an outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry to ensure the nation enjoys fish and chips, receives great customer service and industry professionals have access to opportunities to improving your growth.
The awards are sponsored by the Norwegian Seafood Council and its UK director Victoria Braathen said: “The UK’s love of fish and chips knows no bounds and the awards are the perfect opportunity to celebrate establishments that consistently deliver great fish and chips to diners around the world.
