Married for almost four decades
As previously stated, Andy and Tracey met while the latter was working for the band members. According to some sources, the couple started dating in 1981 and got married a year later. It’s a sweet story about how the singer proposed to his girlfriend at the time.
Tracey was sick one night while visiting Andy and took a nap, hoping she would feel better when she woke up. Around 4 a.m., the musician went to check if his girlfriend at the time was okay. He decided to propose to her right there and while he was watching her.
Andy then asked the question, waking his now lady. He was taken aback by Tracey’s remark. “Don’t be funny,” she said and went back to sleep. Andy Taylor’s wife didn’t accept his proposal until the next morning. The couple married on July 29, 1982 in Los Angeles, California.
Andy and Tracey have been married for over 39 years. In July 2022, the couple will celebrate their fortieth wedding anniversary. They must be in love with each other, considering that they have been together for almost four decades.
Andy Taylor’s wife is a caring mother of four children
On August 20, 1984, two years after their 1982 wedding, the couple welcomed their first child, a son, Andrew James Taylor. Andy and Tracey had three more daughters with each other. Georgina Taylor, Bethany Taylor and Isabella Taylor are their names. Andrew James Taylor, the couple’s first-born and only child, is a member of the band Electric City. He is the co-founder of the burger restaurant Le Bun. Andy Taylor’s daughter Georgina, on the other hand, seems to be a mother. Isabella is a curator and artist, while Bethany is a singer and songwriter.
