Friends of the popular mother have launched a fundraiser to raise enough money to give her a decent funeral and wake.

Friends told how the working mom fell from her private e-scooter onto the concrete and hit her head.

But she had no idea at the time that it had caused the injury that would lead to her death.

“She got up and kept going, even though she complained of headaches for the next few days,” said her daughter, Jaymi Andrews.

Her children, aged between five and 29, are left without their mother and are being cared for by older siblings and relatives in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

“It was such a shock to all of us,” Jaymi said.

“This devastating accident has left us all heartbroken and lost.

“Mom was our queen. She was there for all of us and her grandchildren. Everyone who knew our mom knew that she was there for everyone and would always put strangers before herself.

“Mom made things happen, it didn’t matter what anyone was struggling with, she would find a way to help anyone whose paths crossed.

“She was a funny, kind and beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by many people.”

The accident happened when single mother Angelina, who was also a grandmother of six, went to help a friend move.

On the third day, her headaches got worse and she started behaving strangely.

Her friend was so worried that she called an ambulance that evening.

Jaymi added: “They didn’t take my mum to hospital. They left her where she was and said they thought she was drunk.

“She wasn’t drunk though – it was because of a head injury she didn’t even know she had.”

The next morning, Angelina’s condition worsened further.

Her friend called 911 again and this time paramedics took her to the hospital.

“They took scans of her and discovered that she had four bleeds on her brain, caused by a fall from a scooter.

“They performed an operation to try and stop the bleeding and put her in a coma and kept scanning her to see what was going on,” Jaymi added.

On the fifth day, Angeline suffered a massive stroke, was put on life support, but unfortunately did not recover.

Jaymi, who lives in Milton Keynes, has set up a GoFundMe page in a bid to raise £6,000 for her mother’s funeral.

“We are so desperate to give her a good send off and, as a family, we are asking for donations for her funeral and vigil,” she said.

“Thank you for reading and we sincerely appreciate everything, no matter how big or small.”

Jaymi, 29, is the eldest of Angelina’s children.
