Travis Kelce and the Chiefs Lose to the Buffalo Bills as Taylor Swift Cheers on Her Boyfriend

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs lost their game against the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday.

It was a close decision for the Chiefs as the game ended with Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, looking on.

Kelce, 34, attempted a layup in the final minutes of the fourth quarter that appeared to set up a thrilling and potentially game-winning goal for the Chiefs, only to have the game called back on a penalty. The final score was 20-17.

The loss comes on the heels of the Chiefs’ Dec. 3 game, which marked their first loss while Swift was in attendance. Kansas City is 8-5 so far this season.

The “Karma” singer, dressed in red Chiefs gear, sat next to Kelce’s loved ones in the stadium suite during the game.

The game comes just days after the Grammy-winning singer opened up Time about her relationship with Kelce and the impact he had on NFL broadcasts and fans.

“I don’t know if they showed me 17 times or once,” she said, referring to the cameras she can’t see while cheering on her boyfriend. “I’m just there to support Travis. I don’t know if I’m showing off too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.”

Swift also admitted that cheering from the box at an NFL stadium is a new role for her, but that she enjoys it. “Football is great, it shows,” she said. “I’m missing out on my whole life.”

The 33-year-old was unusually open about her romance, talking Time that she has been dating Kelce for longer than some people first speculated. She said they started dating shortly after he mentioned her on his podcast in July.

“By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think they saw our first date at that game? We’d never be psychotic enough to go hard on a first date,” she said.
