Travis Kelce goes through the “archives”.
On Thursday, June 27, the Kansas City Chiefs shared some photos of their players during their first year with the team and compared them to what they look like now.
“Got back to the archives for this 😁,” the NFL team wrote in its caption below the post.
Setting the carousel in motion, the “Year 1” photo of 34-year-old Kelce shows him with slightly longer hair and a fresh baby face.
The tight end, who was 24 when the Chiefs selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, still sported a full beard as he looked straight into the camera in a throwback photo.

The clip was posted alongside a more recent photo of Kelce captioned “Year 12,” which shows the athlete flashing a bright smile while sporting shorter hair and a bushier beard.
Other teammates also appeared in the post, including Patrick Mahomes, who looked just as fresh in his “Year 1” photo as he grinned for the camera while sporting a little brush on his chin.

Sporting more facial hair in his “Year 8” photo, the quarterback flashed an even bigger smile as he posed for his headshot.
“Everyone looks happier 😮💨,” one person said of the photos in the comments section.

The throwback photos come after Kelce compared playing an NFL game at London’s Wembley Stadium to watching his girlfriend Taylor Swift perform at the same venue.
Speaking of his episode New heights podcast released on Wednesday, June 26, Kelce talked about seeing Swift at Wembley during her Eras Tour London shows.

“Playing in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium? I remember in 2015 when I played in front of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium and then I saw Tay up there going crazy,” he said of the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Detroit Lions at Wembley in 2015. “They got a lot louder for Taylor.”
On Sunday’s show, Travis surprised fans when he took the stage as a backup dancer for a costume change to “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”
Kelce carried his girlfriend to the couch and helped the other dancer freshen up before she sang her last song Department for tortured poets part of the performance.
