Travis Kelce Says He and Taylor Swift Are ‘on Top of the World’ After 2024 Super Bowl and Grammy Wins

It’s been a big week for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

After Swift’s award for album of the year and best pop vocal album Midnight at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, Kelce helped lead the Kansas City Chiefs to Sunday’s Super Bowl victory.

Swift flew out of her Eras Tour in Tokyo on Saturday night to be with her boyfriend in Las Vegas the next day. The pop star, who has been linked to Kelce since September 2023, even celebrated her big win with a romantic kiss on the court.

Speaking in the postgame press conference, Kelce commented on the back-to-back milestone he and Swift had. “Man, he’s on top of the world right now, baby. It feels good,” Kelce told reporters after the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22.

Sunday was the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl win in five years. They won a game against the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 last February.

As for his year compared to last year, Kelce said, “Man, just when you think things can’t get any better . . .”

“I’ll tell you what, being on top of the mountain with my brother is something special that I’ll remember for the rest of my life,” he added of facing his brother – Eagles quarterback Jason Kelce – in the 2023 Super Bowl.

He continued, “It brings me to tears just thinking about that moment and being there all week with him. But what we’ve had to go through with this team, to see guys grow, to see guys put the stats aside, you see for guys to just put their heart into every day and focus every day on the person next to them. That’s something special that I’m not only going to learn from, but I’m going to take with me and these memories will last forever.”

The Chiefs’ win came after Swift made history at the 2024 Grammys by becoming the only female artist to ever win album of the year four times, with wins for Midnight, Fearless, in 1989 and Folklore.
