Travis Kelce is “on fire” for the Super Bowl thanks in part to his brother Jason Kelce!
As the Kansas City Chiefs tight end looks ahead to a big game on Sunday, he’s thanking his older brother for his encouragement.
“He turned me on after that AFC Championship game, telling me to go get it and that we’re the best in the game,” Travis, 34, told reporters Tuesday in Las Vegas. “Just his support is all I need. Seeing him at the game, seeing him excited, that’s all.”
After the Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated in the postseason, Jason made sure to retire — and take his shirt off — at Travis’ divisional playoff game in Buffalo. A week later, the 36-year-old Eagles center was in Baltimore to cheer on the Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

“Last year was a special, special year for us,” Travis said Tuesday. “If you have seen my brother’s documentary Kelceyou’ll see a lot why, and because of how close and close we were, I always wanted to be on top of the mountain with my brother and always, when I imagined it, always played with him in the Super Bowl .”
He added: “But playing against him, meeting him there was one of the most special moments of my life and I don’t know what moment will ever compare to being on top of the world, going against my brother like that.”
