Travis Kelce didn’t make it to the first concert of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Buenos Aires on Thursday, instead showing support for his quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
While Swift serenaded fans in Argentina, Travis attended Mahomes’ third annual Mahomies Foundation Gala, which included an auction. The foundation shared a video on Instagram of Travis at the event held at The Midland Theater in Kansas City.
The Mahomes Foundation is “dedicated to improving the lives of children through initiatives that focus on health, wellness, underserved communities and other charitable causes,” according to their website. It was founded in 2019.

Travis still has a chance to see Swift perform in the Argentine capital. She performs there on Friday and Saturday.

“Do you have anything you can’t wait to go to?” Jason, 36, asked his younger brother – who had some time off the field thanks to a week off after the Chiefs’ win against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.

“I could just say k… that and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know. My skin is really pale so I have to go somewhere sunny,” the tight end replied.
This prompted Jason to ask if this place with the sun happened to be “closer to the equator”.
Others seem to agree that the escape would do the professional athlete good.
“I think the bye week is a great time to get away from football and I think that’s the idea,” Eli Manning told PEOPLE exclusively on Thursday. “It’s time to rest the body, give the mind a little rest, recharge to prepare for the second half of the season.”
Swift and Travis have been spending a lot of time together since going public in mid-October.

The pair sparked dating rumors when the “Love Story” singer attended multiple Kansas City Chiefs games in September, but it wasn’t until the duo made a surprise appearance on the season 49 premiere Saturday night live that they really sent the Swifties into overdrive.
After the show ended, a source told PEOPLE that the two had a PDA-filled date at an after party at Catch Steak.

The insider, who said the pair stayed at the party “until after 4 a.m.,” added that Travis was “touching her, putting his hand on her lower back or putting his hands on her waist, and then they’d kiss a little bit.”
At the end of October, Travis and Taylor made it Instagram official — so to speak.
The “You Belong With Me” singer posed for a photo with her beau as she kissed him on the cheek as they stood with his co-star Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend Chariah Gordon. The sweet clip made it to social networks.

“I just thought it was great how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — friends and family,” Travis said of her coming to his games.
“It’s quickly becoming more serious. They share a strong work ethic and a strong appreciation for life and their careers, a strong family bond and values,” another source told PEOPLE in late October of Travis and Swift.
