Travis Kelce’s Barber Shares Insight on His Friendship with Taylor Swift: ‘Super Sweet Person’

Travis Kelce’s longtime barber had a great time befriending Taylor Swift.

While talking about Tease podcast this week, Patrick Regan shared insight into his new friendship with the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, who he met through the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34.

“Taylor is a super sweet person,” Regan said, adding that Swift, 34, “is always interested in what you’re saying.”

Regan, who has been cutting Kelce’s signature hairstyle for six years, previously revealed that Swift accompanies the NFL star on his haircuts, one of which the “Karma” singer captured on camera with her signature filter and later shared on Instagram in December. Then, in an interview with Fox News in February, Regan said that Swift “always compliments” Kelce’s hair after he styled it.

Despite Swift’s megastar status, Regan and the Grammy winner have one thing in common: they both grew up in Pennsylvania. “She’s also from the Philly area, so we connected really well [over that],” He said.

“She looks like a girl I went to high school with. She’s a really sweet person,” Regan added of Swift’s down-to-earth personality.

While Regan mostly works behind the scenes, the barber admits that things have changed (no pun intended) since Kelce and Swift hit the ground running on their relationship in September. But it was all positive.

“It’s really cool to see how much [Travis’] the personality that everyone sees. He’s one of the best guys in the world,” Regan said Teasing podcast, adding that his work is also magnified because Swift is “such an icon.”

For example, last month Regan made headlines for being the pro behind the athlete’s haircut, which later became known as the “Travis haircut” (although Kelce later said he “didn’t invent” the fade style, which was already popular within the Black community and other cultures).

Kelce started working with Regan when he messaged the barber on Instagram to schedule an appointment while he was training in Florida, where Regan is actually located. Regan didn’t open his shop until 10 a.m., but happily accommodated Kelce four hours early, which was much appreciated.

Since that fateful encounter, Regan has traveled to Kansas City every week during the football season to cut Kelce’s hair, who also shaved for the 2024 Super Bowl.
