Jason and Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, is a big user of social media, but he’s currently locked out of his X account and “they don’t want to say why,” he says.
In a Facebook post, Ed shared an article claiming that arms dealers in Yemen are selling weapons on Xu, formerly known as Twitter, and are also operating in the city of Sanaa, which is Houthi-controlled territory.
He then captioned the post, writing “Arms dealers are free to sell their wares on Xu, but I’m banned for life, and they won’t say why, just a general ‘Terms of Service’ violation.”

The next day, Ed clarified that he posted the story on X because “honestly, I was mad at Elon [Musk]’s trolls.”
“Let me try to get something straight. I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles that mention boys and post them remotely to Facebook for friends and family to see,” he said. “… I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports journalists.”
“I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading other people’s posts. Apparently the X Tweeters believe I posted something against their rules in May or June 2023. It never happened. I guess I was hacked, because the platform is not so sure. My comments when I started this conversation were just to highlight the hypocrisy of this nonsense on social media.”
No stranger to throwing things out on social media, Ed lashed out in March The Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel over comments she made about his son Travis and Taylor Swift.
Frankel broached the subject while applying makeup in an Instagram video. She claimed that Travis, 34, “likes to be in the spotlight” and compared him to one of her ex-boyfriends.
The former Bravo star’s statement included her doubts about the longevity of the couple’s relationship. “When you get into real life, you get into kids and marriage and stuff like that… It’s not easy. Relationships take work,” she said in the video.
Ed Kelce Calls Bethenny Frankel ‘Troll’ Over ‘Peacock’ Comments About Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift
Frankel added, “And it’s hard, because Taylor Swift is definitely a peacock. So really, there can usually only be one peacock in a relationship.”
After Ed heard Frankel’s comments, he took to Facebook and asked his followers, “Who the TF is this troll?”
