Travis Kelce’s Pregame Outfit Was Strikingly Similar to a Cheesecake Factory Bag: ‘Fashion Icons’

Travis Kelce makes outdoor kitchens aesthetic.

Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the tight end stepped out in Buffalo, New York in a unique outfit. He wore a brightly colored striped sweater, yellow coat, and burgundy cap that immediately drew comparisons to The Cheesecake Factory’s tote bag — and even drew backlash from the company.

“😎 Fashion icons,” wrote The Cheesecake Factory x (formerly known as Twitter) with snaps of Kelce, 34, in a sweater next to their signature tote bag.

The outfit caused even more hilarious reactions from other users, including his older brother Jason Kelce, who wrote: “Looks like he’s auditioning for a new Wes Anderson movie.” (Jason wore a lot less clothing for his time at the Chiefs game.)

Other users chimed in with their own take on Travis’ vibrant look. “I knew there was something about his outfit that made him extremely attractive. It’s the cheesecake,” wrote one.

“A match made in heaven,” agreed another user, who was joined by a third who wrote: “This is amazing!! 10 out of 10!!! no comments.”

Taylor Swift fans also drew a connection between Travis’ pregame outfit choice and the look the singer sported in her “Anti-Hero” music video.

The outfit in question, visible from the 1:19 to 1:52 mark of the video, shows Swift wearing a striped collared shirt and yellow pants, a similar aesthetic to her boyfriend’s pre-game outfit.

Jokes about his choice of clothing aside, Travis and the Chiefs beat the Bills 27-24 on Sunday.
