Trinity Rodman Goes Instagram Official with NFL Receiver Trinity Benson: 'Trinity Squared'

Trinity Rodman made her new relationship official on Instagram!

Rodman, 22 — who is the daughter of former professional basketball player Dennis Rodman, 63, and Michelle Moyer, 57 — confirmed she is dating Trinity Benson, 27.

On Tuesday, May 21, the NWSL star posted two cute photos of the pair, mocking the fact that they share the same name. “Trinity squared 🫣😘,” Rodman captioned the post.

Rodman wrapped his arms around the NFL receiver in one sweet snap as she sat with her legs over his knee while wearing denim shorts and a black tank top. In the photo, Benson posed for the camera while holding a drink, and in the shot he wore green shorts and a black T-shirt.

Another photo shows Rodman looking into Benson’s sunglasses-covered eyes as he smiles and puts one hand on his chest and the other around his neck.

Rodman’s fellow NWSL star Sophia Smith, 23, who plays as a forward for Portland Thorns FC, was among those who commented on the post. “Hard launch,” she wrote, while NSWL’s Alyssa Thompson, 19, who plays as a forward for Angel City FC, added: “She went straight to hard launch.”

The new relationship comes after Rodman was previously linked to Loyola Maryland Greyhounds guard Chris Kuzemko.

Meanwhile, Rodman has been playing soccer since he was young, and in 2023, she spoke to PEOPLE about how she got special advice from the late Kobe Bryant when she was about six years old and playing on the same team as his oldest daughter, Natalia.

“He would go to the games with my dad,” Rodman recalled. “And my earliest memory that I’ll never forget was him talking to me after the game and telling me I was going to be a stud at the age of six, which is like, ‘Hello.’ He was right.”

“He was an amazing man,” she continued. “And again, he made it very clear that women are capable of being just as successful, if not more successful, than men. And I, for some reason, thought of that. But yeah, it changed my whole way of thinking about moving forward with football.”

As Rodman continues to take the football world by storm, she admitted Bryant – who died in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020 aged 41 – will always be a CAPRICORN to her.

“I think his mentality was the difference in how he was as an athlete, but his mentality on and off the field, and making connections and being humble on the inside,” she told PEOPLE. “I think he was very humble about the fact that he was a CAPRICORN — and he will always be a CAPRICORN to me.”
