Clues to traffic rule violations
In September 2022, Vasan faced charges of reckless driving and endangering others after he shared a video of himself and fellow internet celebrity GP Muthu riding at dangerous speeds in Palakkad, Kerala. In a video, Vasan can be seen riding his Kawasaki Z900 superbike at a speed of over 150 km/h. To make matters worse, his pillion GP Muthu was riding without a safety helmet. Vasan was booked under Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

In December 2022, Vasan, along with 300 others, was booked for obstructing traffic on the way to the inauguration ceremony of Director Chellam Senthil in Cuddalore. He was joined by more than 300 young men on motorcycles, slowing traffic at several points in the town.
Police said the motorcycle rally did not have a permit. Following a complaint lodged by sub-inspector Kathiravan, the police booked Vasan, Senthil and others under Sections 143 (Unlawful assembly), 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by a public servant), 283 (Danger or obstruction on public road) File a case. or navigation line), 341 (Penalty for wrongful restraint), vide Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act. In January 2023, the Chennai police seized a car that Vasan was traveling in Kodambakkam as it did not have a number plate. Vasan did not drive. Wasan was slammed by many after he posted a video of himself smiling and waving to the camera while being fined by police.
Driving license suspended for 10 years
On September 17, 2023, TTF Vasan met with an accident while attempting a wheelie on the service road of the Chennai-Vellore highway in Thamal area near Kanchipuram. A wheelie is a stunt in which the front wheel of a two-wheeler is briefly lifted off the road. He fell off his bike and suffered minor injuries. The Baluchetty Chatram police booked Vasan under sections 279 (reckless driving or riding on public roads) and 337 (causing hurt by conduct endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). On September 19, the police arrested him and informed the Regional Transport Office (RTO) about his traffic violation. In October 2023, Wasan’s driving license was suspended for ten years until October 5, 2033, due to reckless driving of a motorcycle. After the incident, the YouTuber was lodged in Puzhal Jail.
Booked for threatening journalists
In March 2023, he was booked for allegedly threatening a journalist and insulting the police department in a video on his YouTube channel. A case was registered against him under sections 294 (b) (uttering obscene words) and 506 (i) (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. YouTuber and journalist Madan Ravichandran posted a video in which he interviewed Vasan about his alleged traffic violation case. Reacting to the video, Vasan uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he can be seen issuing life threats to Ravichandran and abusing the police department.
rammed his car into a two-wheeler in Chennai
In July 2023, a car in which Vasan was traveling rammed into a two-wheeler on Nelson Manikarm Road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, sparking controversy. According to reports, the driver of the two-wheeler was injured, while Vasan, Chellam Senthil (director of Vasan’s debut film “Manjal Veeran”) and a friend who accompanied them in the vehicle were not injured. Soon after the accident, Wasan allegedly booked a car and left the scene. According to reports, Senthil was allegedly speeding and lost control of his car after hitting a motorcyclist and hit a pole near a petrol station. A video of Wasan getting into a heated argument with a person who was filming the incident went viral on social media.
