Tyla arrived at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards!
On Monday, October 28, the 22-year-old singer made her debut at the annual event in a daring black lace minidress from Gucci’s ’96 collection. beneath which her neon green hot pants were visible.
The small-miniature dress went down to the singer’s navel, which perfectly highlighted her necklace. She also wore black strappy heels. For glamour, she applied bright blue eyeshadow and swept her curly hair into a perfectly tousled updo.

On Oct. 15, the Grammy winner performed at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. To sing her hit “Water” as well as “PUSH 2 START,” the South African musician wore an intricate, layered top and bottom, plus a matching garter belt.

For the pre-show carpet, Tyla stunned in a hot pink floor-length gown that featured a beaded design, cut-out details and a cascading train. She wore sparkly sandals and lots of jewelry, and wore her hair up in a messy bun.
Other performances during the show included Cher and Lisa. Ahead of the event, Tyla said Rolling Stone that growing up she was “mesmerized” by the iconic fashion show and its “stunning outfits” and “iconic wings.”

At this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards, Erykah Badu was honored with the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Icon Award. Previous winners of the prestigious award, which has recognized fashion influencers since 2010, include Zendaya, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards will be hosted by Cynthia Erivo and presented by Amazon Fashion at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
