The The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum echoed those thoughts while talking to PEOPLE earlier this year about starring in designer Karen Millen’s latest ICONS campaign.

“I look in the mirror and I don’t feel like I’m 50,” Banks said in September. “I think 50 is the new 30.”

She continued: “When I look in the mirror, I don’t see it. I haven’t had plastic surgery for my age. I’m not against it. I’m just not yet. I might need a little something, something — I’m 50 even though I don’t [yet]. But I’m not insecure about it.”

However, she was grateful to the ICONS campaign, which allowed her to “make a tailored piece look good on curves”.

“There’s an evolution,” she said of body positivity on the #StraightTalk Women@Meredith series in March 2021, reflecting on how far the modeling industry has come since her career began.

“There’s a constant evolution of everything. I’m happy to be a part of it and I’m happy to see people take it to the next level,” Banks added.
