Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou LIVE RESULT: Oleksandr Usyk says Dec 23 fight is still ON and gives Fury ultimatum

Press conference excluded

Tyson Fury’s post-fight press conference has been CANCELED following his highly controversial victory over Francis Ngannou.

Gypsy King, 35, was expected to comfortably handle the former UFC heavyweight champion, 37, who was making his professional boxing debut.

Eubank Jr opines

Chris Eubank Jr has claimed that Francis Ngannou should have been awarded the victory over Tyson Fury.

The boxer joked that Gypsy King spent too much time “filming Netflix documentaries”.

He posted: “Watching from the ring I thought Ngannou won the fight.

“It was close, but he was the aggressor, he threw the harder punches and scored a knockdown.

“Fury deserved to lose after so much trouble against a man who had never boxed before… too much time filming Netflix specials and not enough time in the gym I guess. Unlucky Francis.”

No confirmation for Fury vs. Usyk

A shocked Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk then clashed in the ring.

But the date of their fight has NOT been confirmed.

With the proposed date of December 23rd now seeming a million miles away.

More than Francis Ngannou

Francis Ngannou was gracious in defeat, too gracious, some might argue.

He said: “I feel great, fantastic. It didn’t work out for me, maybe today I’ll get beaten, maybe I’ll be wounded, but I can bite. We can restart it and I’m sure I’ll be better. This was my first boxing match, a great experience.

“I won’t make excuses, I know I was short, but I will come back with a little more experience in the game.

“At first I was a little nervous, now I know I can do this s***. The wolf is in the house. Had to feel the water tonight, and now I know the temperature.

“I came out after a long recovery and surgery, three and a half months. I worked hard and did my best. I know myself. We will get together with my team and what we can do next to improve my game.”
