UP Govt. School hours have changed

UP School Timings: Government of Uttar Pradesh has changed the school timings for public schools. The opening and closing schedule for secondary and higher secondary schools in the country has been revised. Also, the authorities have changed the holiday time this year. These changes happen every year and are applicable to all schools throughout UP.

According to the revised schedule, government schools will work between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm from April 1 to September 30, 2023. While they will work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm from October 1 to March 31.

After the opening of the school, prayers and yoga will be held for 15 minutes. The lunch break in summer is from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., and in winter from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.

The Swachhajanli program marks Gandhi Jayanti in schools across the region

All primary and secondary schools in the region were open on Sunday, October 1, as part of the Swachhajanli program to mark Gandhi Jayanti, a one-hour Shramdaan program was held in these schools.

The Minister of State, Yogi Adityanath, also issued an order to organize Prabhat Pheri for primary and secondary school students on this occasion. In addition, it was ordered that both teachers and students perform their household duties at school.

UP NMMS scholarship exam 2023

Meanwhile, the application window for the Uttar Pradesh National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) has closed recently. NMMS scholarship exam is held to award scholarships worth Rs 12000 to students during class 9 to 12. The exam is scheduled on 5th November 2023. Only students who are in their class 8 were eligible to apply for UP NMMS scholarship exam 2024-25.
