UP schools closed tomorrow
UP Schools Closed: Schools in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed on October 28 and 29, 2023 for UPPSC PET 2023 Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test will be conducted in various parts of the state. Therefore, schools in 35 districts of UP will remain closed for two days to enable smooth conduct of the examination.
Why are UP schools closed for UPPSC PET 2023 exam?
According to reports, more than 20 million candidates are likely to appear for the UPPSC PET exam 2023. So, to avoid any hurdles, the state government has ordered the closure of UP schools in certain areas. Also, schools located in these 35 districts received official orders for temporary suspension of work.
Orders have been issued to keep UP schools closed as some of these schools may serve as the venue for the UPPSC PET 2023 examination. This will reduce hurdles and provide a good environment for the conduct of the examination.
UP schools closed for Valmiki Jayanti
Meanwhile, many schools will remain closed tomorrow: October 28, 2023, due to Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. On this occasion, almost all schools in Delhi and neighboring areas remain closed.
Why do we celebrate Valmiki Jayanti?
Valmiki Jayanti is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Maharshi Valmiki, the great sage, writer and poet. This day has special significance among Hindus and will be celebrated on Purnima Tithi in the month of Ashwin i.e. October 28, 2023.
